Samsung Galaxy S25 series has reportedly started receiving the One UI 8 beta 2 build in select regions, including India. Several posts on Samsung’s community forums and social media platforms suggest that the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra users are seeing the beta 2 version of Samsung’s Android 16-based One UI 8. The software update is said to bring several improvements and bug fixes. It reportedly adds a new feedback feature to enhance interpreter performance. Users can sign up for the One UI 8 beta programme via the Samsung Members app.
As per user posts on Samsung Community Forum and X, Samsung seems to have released the One UI 8 beta 2 for Galaxy S25 series smartphones in India, South Korea, the UK, Germany and Poland. The update based on Android 16 is said to come with the firmware version S938NKSU4ZYF3, S938NOKR4ZYF3 or S938NKSU4BYF3 for users in Germany, South Korea, and the UK, respectively.

The screenshots of the One UI 8 beta 2 update suggests that it is around 1.2GB in size. The update is said to adds a user feedback feature to interpreter performance. It also offers a fix for several known issues, like the Now brief text misalignment, widget size on the lock screen, and fingerprint recognition screen failure, as per the screenshots shared on the form. It also reportedly fixes the issue of the Air Command icon disappearing when the S Pen is detached.
One UI 8 beta 2 is said to bring improvements to the battery widget icon and resolve an issue related to low volume during Bluetooth calls in vehicles. The update reportedly fixes issues with the notification sound during gaming and the alarm sound bug, and glitches with Galaxy Al weather and time wallpapers. Furthermore, it is said to offer software stabilisation and improvements to several apps, including the Camera.
Interested Galaxy S25 series smartphone users in the above-mentioned regions can join the One UI 8 beta via the Samsung Members app by logging in with their Samsung Account. The One UI 8 Beta Program banner will appear for people in supported regions, and they can complete the sign-up by tapping on it. After registering, users can head to Settings > Software update > Download and install to get the Android 16-based beta update.
